Healthier Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup unrefined coconut sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon agave nectar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips (I use milk chocolate!)
1.) Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2.) In a mixing bowl, cream coconut oil and coconut sugar together.
3.) Add in egg, vanilla, and agave nectar to the creamed oil and sugar.
4.) Sift salt, baking powder, baing soda, and flour together. Slowly begin adding the sifted dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until well incorporated.
5.) Stir in chocolate chips and drop onto a baking sheet 2 Tablespoon sizes of dough each.
6.) Baking in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until lighted golden in the edges.
