Fall Treats

Fall will be coming to an end soon and the winter season will begin. I haven't been baking lately so I thought I would browwe through my older photos to see what I have made in the past. I actually forget about a lot of desserts that I have made until I see the pictures. Here are some of my favorites fall treats....

1.) Pumpkin Chocolate Chips Cookies. Made with milk chococolate! My favorite recipe is this one: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/pumpkin-chocolate-chip-cookies-iii/detail.aspx<

2.) Fall Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream Pie.
I don't have the recipe for this one. I created one evening by making a homemade pumpkin spice ice cream. While the ice cream was freezing I made a homemade graham crust. I might have whipped the ice cream with fresh whipped cream but I can't be sure.   :(   I drizzled with chocolate and caramel saice on top and sprinkled some cinnamon on too.

3.) Pumpkin Spice Truffles
Again, another homemade recipe of mine that I threw together. I am unsure if I have the recipe for this, but basically is a a simple ganache with fall spices added to it. Roll into cocoa or dip into milk chocolate.

Sounds like some very fine yummie desserts you got there MSC! I love the pumpkin chili's and pumpkin spiced chex mix. The lunch ladies go crazy for That one! Very inventive you are about adding different spices to the truffle mixture. Never thought of doing that. Great weather to stay inside and cook like a maniac. Thanks for sharing those great photos too. Mmmmmm

I'm so sad! I just purchased all the ingredients to make the Peanut Butter Pie, and now when I try to pull up the pie on All Recipes, it's a Pizza recipe. Is there any way you could repost the recipe? Thanks!

It is published on AllRecipes as MySweetCreation Peanut Butter Cookie Pie.

About Me
I am a Southern California wife and mother of one. I am a simple person that enjoys home decor, baking, and spending time with my family. You can also find me on YouTube - House of Aqua: http://www.youtube.com/user/HouseOfAqua/videos?sort=dd&flow=list&page=1&view=0
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy making a variety of ice cream, cookies, cakes, and candies. In recent years I have branched out by making new dinner recipes and found that I enjoy the challenge.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have a daughter that loves to help me bake. We spend Christmas Eve in the kitchen making special cookies for Santa together.
My cooking triumphs
I consider tempering chocolate and making caramels a triumph. You either get it right or your wrong!
My cooking tragedies
I failed several times at trying to make fondant centers for truffles. I decided to put my candymaking book away for a while!
