Homemade Brioche Cinnamon Rolls

This was a huge feat for me! I am still learning how to make breads and a little unsure at times. I fell in love with brioche when a neighbor introduced me to a local bread place in our neighborhood called Con Pane. They well chocolate brioche bread, brioche twists, and brioche cinnamon rolls. I am partial to the brioche cinnamon rolls myself.
I began looking into brioche recipes and I finally settled on a recipe but it was written in metrics. I started to convert the recipe from metrics to standard, but it didn't even out, so I decided I would just figure it out as I go. In the end it turned out perfectly!
I ended up with a lot of dough, so I cut it into thirds. I baked one third of the dough this afternoon and created Brioche Cinnamon Rolls. They turned out fluffy and light with a slight creamy taste to them. I began making the rolls by rolling the dough into a rectangle. I create the cinnamon mixture with butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon. I spread the mixture over the rectangle and then carefully rolled the dough up. Using a pastry cutter, I cut the dough and placed in a greased 9X13 pan and baked at 375 for 15-17 minutes.
I have the recipe written out and ready to share, but I am still writing up the directions. Once I complete the directions, I will share the recipe!

Wow! This word seems SSsooo inatiquite(sp) Proud of you for trying something you weren't sure about and getting excellent results for your troubles. Bet they taste even Better. Happy dance coming from up here:)

They look so yummy! I will be looking for the recipe. I found a cinnamon rolled recipe that used as a filling-beaten egg whites (soft peaks) and folding in the cinnamon sugar. It was quite good as a filling!
