I love comfort food. I don't love the effects from comfort food, especially over a long winter. Also, in case you haven't noticed I love baking and I need to save room for that stuff.
The Healing Cabbage Soup is a great comfort food without all of the calories. It has become a new favorite in our house. I like to grill deli bread to go along with it. I use garlic, french, it doesn't matter.
The Healing Cabbage Soup can be found here on

Happy Saturday Night MSC! Thanks for your instructional video on Cookie press cookies. I'm making some tomorrow with the Cookie Press my DH found some weeks back.... if you remember. Can't wait to see how they turn out. Great videos. I watched them all.

I was at Bed bath & Beyond yesterday and I got an Aerolatte just like yours. I do have an Espresso machine but is so big and messy, so I don't use it very often. It was so nice this morning to have a quick cappuccino! Can't wait to make hot chocolate later, thanks for the tip!

Thats great Rose, I am glad you got one and like it. It is easy to use and clean up. I enjoy making hot chocolate with it because it leaves an airy frothy chocolate layer. Thanks for letting me know! :)

About Me
I am a Southern California wife and mother of one. I am a simple person that enjoys home decor, baking, and spending time with my family. You can also find me on YouTube - House of Aqua:
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy making a variety of ice cream, cookies, cakes, and candies. In recent years I have branched out by making new dinner recipes and found that I enjoy the challenge.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have a daughter that loves to help me bake. We spend Christmas Eve in the kitchen making special cookies for Santa together.
My cooking triumphs
I consider tempering chocolate and making caramels a triumph. You either get it right or your wrong!
My cooking tragedies
I failed several times at trying to make fondant centers for truffles. I decided to put my candymaking book away for a while!
