Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Sundae

I recently went to Baskin Robbins for the first time a few days ago and tried their Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Sundae with consists of layers of creamy peanut butter, chocolate, crushed Reeses, Reeses Ice Cream, and topped with whipped cream. It was truly delicious.
I wanted to try out my new mixer, so I decided to break out my ice cream attachment for the mixer and I began by making vanilla ice cream but then I suddenly remember the sweet treat I had from Baskin Robbins a few days ago and decided to make Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream.
I still need to find the time to write out the recipe because I didn't write it while I was making the ice cream. I actually failed to add enough white sugar to the vanilla ice cream so once it was done mixing in the ice cream maker, it tasted like heavy whipping cream. I had already decided by the time the vanilla was done mixing that I was making it into Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream so I transfered the vanilla ice cream to my mixing bowl and began to add the peanut butter and crushed Reeses Cups. I had this idea that I could just add some powdered sugar to make it sweet like it should have been and it worked. When I write the recipe, I am going to include the step for adding powdered sugar because it turned out so perfect.
Once it was done, I made it into a sundae.
I hope you guys enjoy!

Oh Hi, I just posted this very question for you. How do you like the attachment? I would like to buy one but not if it doesn't work too well. I have a 300 watt. Glad your ice cream turned out well, sorry bout the sugar. Thank You.

I LOVE the ice cream attachment and I really have no complaints with it at all. I have been making our own ice cream this year. I can't count how many times I have used it. It is a very simple system and works very well without having to purchase another kitchen appliance. The only thing that *some* people complain about is having to freeze the bowl 12-14 or more hour before use. Many people just opt to keep it in their freezer all the time so when they decide they are ready to make ice cream they can otherwise if the bowl isn't frozen, you will need to freeze it and wait. I keep my bowl in my freezer most of the time. It takes of some space, but that is okay for us.

I haven't made ice cream with my mixer in a while. That reminds me... I better get mine out and make the pumpkin ice cream I have been dying to try!

Pumpkin ice cream is next on my list after trying it at Cold Stone. Did you get the kitchen aid ice cream attachment, Jessie? I can't remember.
