Lunch On The Go

I started packing more lunches or snacks on the go recently. I always took snacks for myself and our four year old, but sometimes when we are shopping or running errands we would get hungry and my four year old would beg me to buy her pizza or popcorn.
I recently found a neat pink sandwich container and a tiny matching pink bowl at our farmer's market at the Tupperware booth. The tiny bowl is only large enough to carry dressing for a salad or for us, it is used for organic ranch. I throw a handful of baby
carrots into the sanwich container along with a sandwich and the tiny side of ranch.
You can always find organic Trader Joes fruit leathers and organic Kids Clif Bars in my bag. I buy natural juice bags and organic chocolate milk from Costco and together it makes a very nice lunch or snack on the go.
I switch up the sandwiches we take so it doesn't get boring. Today I made a peanut butter sandwich using a Sara Lee thin whole wheat hot dog bun and then I cut it in half. Sometimes we just bring along a prepackaged frozen Smuckers peanut butter and jelly.
We have got a lot of use out of our new pink Tupperware containers this past week.
