Sweet Party Favor Ideas

I thought I would share some of the party favors I have used during this past year for parties that I have hosted. The "Fun Cookie Suckers" recipe on here makes a great looking lollipop cookie.

I also like to custom order invitations, water bottle labels, stickers, and wrappers. I have used a variety of sellers on eBay for these products with success. I like to use the full size candy bar wrappers which accomodate Nestle Crunch, Hershey's Chocolate, or Cookies and Cream candy bars. It is a fairly cheap way to make your party special and tie in them theme nicely.

The individual cupcake boxes were also purchased on eBay. I haven't seen them anywhere else. They make great party favors! I sealed them with a custom sticker for my daughter's fourth birthday party this past April.

This is the link to one of the eBay sellers I have been using lately:

This is the link to a seller that once sold on eBay, but has moved onto her own website. The baby shower favors and the first pink/brown wrappers are labels are from this seller:

Let me know if you have any questions!

I love the detail you add to all the yummy creations. We had a baby shower for a dear friend and made up baggies for the guests. I was amazed to see the types of confetti and mini decorations you can purchase now to decorate anything for any theme

I've always enjoyed looking at your different labels and boxes you use for your parties. Would you mind sharing a few names of the sellers on Ebay to make it a little easier for the rest of us? Or what did you put in the search box?

You can go to the partie supplies on eBay and type wrappers or water bottle labels. If I find something I like I usually look at what other items the seller offers most usually offer all kinds of matching supplies. I have seen wrappers for suckers, stickers for various for candy, microwave popcorn wrappers, tea bags, etc. I hope that helps. The link above is one of the sellers I have been using lately.

I had my own business for 15 years creating some 30 types of custom favors, including candy bar wrappers. All original works. I remember being SO disappointed when Hershey stopped using the foil wrappers! You can find pretty foils that you wrap the bars in and then put on the custom labels your source provides. (or just use basic, goes with everything, silver!) Here is a link: http://foilman.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1&zenid=b92d5b910cceb62646e6a2fe015f7f48

Thanks for the link! I bummed out that Hershey's no longer uses the foils too. I bought some custom candy wrapper labels for Hershey bars this past Halloween for my daughter to give to her friends at a playdate and the seller has black foils and orange foils, which was neat. Do you still create custom items?

Hi MySweet :) I just read on an AR post where you said you had spent a lot of time perfecting cookies... I would appreciate if you read my (only) blog about my cc cookies experiements and add your comments. I am going to try your suggestion for freezing into balls and pan types in the next experiment. Right now I am more about the flavor though. Love your blog -- you are a 'sweet'heart.... take care.

MSC, I just saw your Oatmeal Cookie picture from WholeGrainGourmet.com website and I really want to make them. Do you also freeze them into balls? Since there is oatmeal in it I'm not sure if would freeze well. Please let me know. Thanks! :)

No, I don't freeze the batter. With those, I stick batter into the freezer for 20 minutes before baking and then in between batches. We end up eating all of those cookies, so I rarely freeze them, but I have before and it works too. I just made more of them today for my family while I am visiting in Iowa, I was just about to submit a photo until I saw this! I hope this helps. They are a true fantastic healthy cookie. I put dark chocolate chips in ours.

My favorite things to cook
I enjoy making a variety of ice cream, cookies, cakes, and candies. In recent years I have branched out by making new dinner recipes and found that I enjoy the challenge.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have a daughter that loves to help me bake. We spend Christmas Eve in the kitchen making special cookies for Santa together.
My cooking triumphs
I consider tempering chocolate and making caramels a triumph. You either get it right or your wrong!
My cooking tragedies
I failed several times at trying to make fondant centers for truffles. I decided to put my candymaking book away for a while!
