Roasted Tomatoes with Garlic

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2010
I cut the grape tomatoes in half but otherwise followed the recipe and they came out fantastic! I will definitely make these again.

Farina Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
The flavor wasn't too bad, it was interesting with the lemon and cardamom but it was just way way too dry.

Not sure where I went wrong but I did not like this quiche at all and I normally like quiche.

Crescent Pizza Pinwheels

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
I thought these were OK. I will have to try to make them with regular pizza dough instead of the crescent dough. I normally like its taste but in this recipe it just tasted wrong. My kids liked it though!

Fat Free Mini Prune Honey Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
I didn't like these at all. The kids ate it but only after buttering them. I normally go for fat free food but these muffins just didn't taste very good.

Zulandt's Lentil Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
I thought this was pretty good but the rest of the family didn't really like it. Instead of the zucchini I used carrots and I cooked everything in a pressure cooker (about 10 minutes.)

Cheesy Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
They were just OK. Husband found the tomatoes too raw, I found the onions too raw. Kids only picked the beans out. It wasn't horrible but I probably won't make this again.

Oatmeal Cocoa Macaroons

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
They came out pretty good. I added twice the coconut, I used butter, and used only 3/4 of the sugar. I still found them just a tad too sweet so I think next time I'll just use half the sugar.

Moroccan Tagine

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
I normally love these kinds of dishes but for some reason I didn't devour this one. I did substitute sweet potatoes for the squash I wonder if that was the problem.

I've been making tzatziki using the same ingredients and I love it. I serve it with falafels and pita.

Gnocchi with Pesto Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
I've made this recipe a few times by now and comes out delicious. I do add some garlic and I have not added pine nuts. I found it best when the gnocchi itself was filled with pesto as well.

Tzatziki II

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
I keep making this tzatziki over and over again when I server falafels. I found it to be the best tzatziki recipe out there so far.
