I treasure old recipes and collect old cookbooks. I love to see families' recipe traditions and the names people give them through the years, such as "Aunt June's Lemon Cake" "DeDe's bread" "Jeanne's Good Chicken," etc.

Actually, I cook and bake very little because I am a full time working single mom, but I do like to make pies for my family and friends, especially around the holidays.
