Crispy Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2014
Made these crispy fillets as per the recipe with the exception of dredging fillets in flour before the egg mixture. After the fillets were coated I put them on a platter & placed them in the fridge for 10 minutes to firm up. Fried them up and the family absolutely LOVED THEM!! Will definitely make them again with the potatoe flakes again - so crispy & yummy

Tangy Sliced Pork Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2013
Made this tonight & it was really good. I followed another reviewers advice and sauteed onions first and added 2 tbsp of garlic/herb cream cheese to thicken sauce. Delish! Oh yeah also added cooked asparagus as a veggie.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2012
This good but not my favourite. I guess I'm not a fan of a wine gravy but both my boys likes it very much. Will make again just for them.

Honey Mustard Dressing I

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2012
very good dressing. I took the advice of others and only added 1 tsp soya sauce. I used a combination of 3 mustards; regular, dijon & sweet onion mustard. MMMmmmm good! Thanks for posting

Spinach Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
Loved this dish! I made minor changes though - I added garlic - feta cheese and used cream of mushroom soup (that's all I had)to the mixture. My husband loved this and my son ate all his portion even though he was sick. It's a keeper. Thanks

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
WOW - excellent crispy beef - my family thinks it's even better than the restaurant's. First time I made with fresh beef & it was delicious. Tonight I made it with l/o prime rib & it was equally delicious. Instead of orange concentrate I used the juice from 1 orange and the zest from the orange - it was a festival of flavour in our mouths. My husband asked when I'm making it again!

Broccoli Salad IV

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
Love this salad & my brocoli hating husband did too! A few changes - dressing is 1/2 miracle whip & 1/2 plain yogurt with 2 teaspoons of lemon juice & sugar. Used slivered almonds, added leftover corn on the cob and feta cheese. Rave reviews from all the family. Thanks Welldone for a great recipe.

Garlic Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
I use this recipe with a little twist. I mix the minced garlic/dill/lemon juice with soft butter. Then drop balls of the butter mixture with onions on the salmon & cook in foil in the oven or BarBQ. I always receive compliments on how moist & tasty the salmon turns out. Try it you'll love it!!

Meatloaf Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
I just made this meatloaf for supper & I got 2 thumbs up from my husband & 5 yr old son. My meatloaves in the past have never tasted this great. I took the advice from others & covered my loaf with tin foil for 45 minutes then cooked uncovered for 20 minutes. They were right "moist & delicious" I did add a few more spices. I added a Canadian Spice that's a staple in any household called Montreal Steak Spice which gives it a little kick:) This is definitely a keeper & I will be giving the recipe to friends as well.
