This was absolutely delicious and pretty easy to make. I added more hot sauce and omitted the salt.

German Chocolate Cake Frosting II

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2010
This is seriously delicious. i used the "black magic cake" recipe also found on this website to go with it. I found that the frosting thickens on its own if you simmer if for a bit and then even more so when it cools. Also, i used unsweetened coconut flakes and i thought it was perfect. i think sweetened coconut flakes would have made it too sweet.

Chocolate Chip Meringue Drops

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2010
This was incredibly simple and delicious. i didn't use cocoa powder though because i didn't have any. i added about 1/2 cup of chopped strawberries to the batter and when they baked with the meringue they sort of turned into jam which was delicious.

Jap Chae Korean Glass Noodles

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2010
I thought it was pretty great although it could have used more flavor. i can't blame the recipe since i made some substitutions. i added crumbled tofu and i used oyster mushrooms instead of shiitake. i didn't have asparagus so i omitted that.

Peppy's Pita Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
wow! i was so pleasantly surprised when they actually puffed! I used these modifications: i substituted 1/2 cup whole wheat flour. i don't have a bread machine so i did that part by hand. and also, i used a pizza stone and it worked great.

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
Really great cobbler recipe, super tasty. I used 2 and 1/2 cups of strawberries and blackberries and i think next time i will skip the extra tablespoon of sugar that goes on top.
