Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
YUM! I used extra thick chops and they turned out very tender. My family liked them better than grilled pork chops, and they were so easy to make! I will definitely use this recipe again.

Mini Meringues

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
I followed the recipe, using Equal 0 calorie sweetener instead of sugar and egg beaters. They turned out like marshmallows. It was probably my fault because I used egg beaters.

Stuffed Chicken Breasts with Cornbread Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
This was a pretty good recipe. I didn't have green pepper and did not use chicken livers. The chicken was tender and the stuffing was moist. Thanks!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
I changed a few things about this recipe. I used 1 cup whole wheat flour+ 1 cup white, only used half the oil called for, and added 1 tablespoon of apple sauce and about 1/4 cup splenda. They were delicious!

Buffalo Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
I can only give this recipe four stars because I changed a few things, but they tasted excellent! First, I put the chicken in a zip lock bag with some Tabasco sauce for about an hour. I also used Tabasco sauce instead of water with the eggs. And after reading some reviews, I decided to dip the chicken fingers in a mixture of melted butter and Tabasco sauce before the last few minutes of cooking time. I didn't have any Franks on hand, but the Tabasco sauce worked fine. Thanks for the recipe!

Low-Fat Blueberry Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
This is a great healthy muffin recipe! I used all whole wheat flour and 1/3 cup brown sugar+ 1/3 cup Splenda instead of 2/3 cup brown sugar. I also used oat bran instead of wheat bran, frozen blueberries, and egg subsitute in place of the egg. I ended up with 15 muffins. I just tried a warm one fresh out of the oven and they are pretty good :-)

Delicious! I just finished having this for lunch. It was so easy to make and tasted great. I used spinach because I didn't have any lettuce. Thanks for the great sandwich recipe!

I just made these with double pumpkin and no soy flour (used all whole wheat flour), and they're great. I love how healthy they are. Great recipe, THANKS!

Almost No Fat Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
Yum! This is an awesome low fat recipe! I took some other reviewer's advice and added 1 tsp. almond extract and 1 tsp. vanilla. The crust was a bit "rubbery," but I actually enjoyed the texture. Will definitely make this again. Thanks!

Cheese Garlic Biscuits I

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2008
I halved the recipe, but kept cheese amount the same and used wter instead of milk. My dad liked them, but my brother said they were too salty...he's a very picky eater though.

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2008
This is a good recipe. I like that there's no breading and it's low fat. I used lemon juice from a bottle and it tasted fine.

Streusel Topped Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2008
I halved the recipe. Took other reviewers advice and used brown sugar in the streusel mixture, and frozen blueberries. The batter did seem a little thick, but the end result was delicious. The topping gives these muffins a sweet crunch.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2008
AMAZING! This tasted just like the rice you get at chinese take out places (and I didn't even use the sesame oil)! It wasn't even hard to make. I took someone's suggestion and put the rice only in a pot over high heat for about 5 minutes. Will DEFINETLY make this again! Thankyou.

Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2008
WOW. This was soo good. I would definetly reccomend it and will be making it again and again. I followed the recipe exactly. I left some of the chicken unbreaded and it still tasted GREAT; so I think that I will just skip that step next time. Oh ya, I also just kept the chicken on a baking sheet in the oven until the sauce was ready to pour over it. Thanks!!

Chocolate Meringue Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2008
These were so good right when they came out of the oven, but after I stored them they turned soft and sticky. This happened the one other time I tried to make meringue cookies, too.

These were great. Only changes were that I added a little more Italian seasoning and cooked in crock pot with the sauce all day on low. Served on homeade baguettes.
