Easy Cinnamon Fudge

Super simple, super good! I used real butter and it set up just fine! Love the cinnamon in it...I also used peanuts instead of walnuts, and the kids loved it.

Citrus Mint Cooler

Yep--really good. I did cut the sugar down to 1.75 cups, and it was fine. I tried selling it at the racetrack, but customers weren't into it. That's okay; I took it home and we enjoyed it!

Homemade Wine

For such a simple recipe, I am wonderfully impressed with the results! I will be making this again, for sure! I used frozen apple cider. I also used only 3 cups of sugar, dissolved in boiled water. It's still quite sweet, and it's quite strong...somewhat like a dessert wine, not quite as sweet. I did wait the six weeks, and it was worth it!

Fennel Corn Muffin

This is an interesting corn muffin. It's different...not one I'd probably make again, but only because it just didn't "wow" me. If I were a regular chili maker, this might be my muffin of choice.

Butternut Squash Enchiladas

Interesting. If I make it again, I'll double the cheese and probably roast the squash for a nuttier and richer flavor. My lunch box was certainly the envy of all at work when I warmed up the leftovers!

Watermelon Gazpacho

I loved this recipe. It's refreshing and healthy! I made a big batch for our concessions stand, but...it wasn't a big seller. I guess my crowd just isn't very adventuresome when it comes to food. Anyway, I loved it. I used a half cup of frozen OJ concentrate instead of orange juice because many reviewers mentioned this recipe being watery. I also tossed in some canteloupe, as someone else mentioned. Wonderful!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Perfect! Even though I used shortening instead of oil, the loaf turned out perfectly. It is a very soft bread that kids will like. I also did not read the directions about putting yeast in water first. Woops. It didn't make any difference, as far as I'm concerned. I will use this one again.

I made this as a teaser at a farmer's market where I was selling bunches of sage. Everyone loved it! It looked beautiful with a few sage blossoms and leaves on top.
