Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2014
So SO good! My husband absolutely loved it, too. A huge winner that will be in regular rotation. I did use JILLYBEAN14's suggestions, however, so I really can't comment on the recipe on top. The only thing that I could think of to make this better is to double the recipe so there are plenty of leftovers! :)

Chocolate-Cran-Oat Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
I really like these, but I feel that there is too much flour. I'll be trying these again with 2 cups instead of 3 cups.

On Wisconsin Beer Brats

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2011
Seriously, these are amazing. I will never cook a brat another way. I used Shipyard Oktoberfest beer for this, and it was awesome. I don't even like beer, but this was just delicious. The brats were so tender! The only thing I might do next time is cut down on the cayenne pepper, as the onions were too spicy to eat on their own (this is just me, as my husband said they were fine).

Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
Just made this, and it's wonderful. I never ever use ground turkey because I feel it's just so... blah! But this recipe made me a believer. Also, I took the advice of a lot of people on here and cut the hot sauce in half, but next time I'll use all of it. I felt it could use some more heat!

Campbell's Kitchen Chicken Broccoli Divan

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
Super easy version: cheat like I did and buy a rotisserie chicken. Adds tons of flavor to an already great dish. Also, cook the broccoli just a bit before putting it in.

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
This recipe is amazing. Flat out, best ham ever. I got so many compliments on it, it took all the focus off the turkey at Thanksgiving! I did have to hack at it to get it to fit, but it was worth it. It literally fell apart when I went to cut it. So juicy and not salty at all. A perfect blend of sweet and savory. I used a smoked picnic ham. This will become my dish I have to bring to family gatherings now! People are already asking me to bring it for Christmas! Thanks so much for this wonderful recipe!

Fast Chicken Soup Base

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
This recipe is fantastic. An additional tip: cook your pasta separately and don't add until you are plating the soup, that way the pasta doesn't soak up all the liquid and it doesn't get mushy!

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2008
Awesome low-fat mashed potatoes... who knew?! I made it exact, and they were wonderful. I added salt as necessary (but my husband thought they were perfect as is).
