Chicken Jerusalem I

This was my first try at brittle. I used salted mixed nuts instead of peanuts and it turned out awesome! It never reached 300 degrees on the candy thermometer but checked out good in the water test at 260. It has the perfect crunch to it, not too hard like some brittle gets.

Warm Flourless Chocolate Cake with Caramel Sauce

This cake was to die for! I didn't really care for the caramel sauce (I think it was the lemon juice) but the cake was so awesome it didn't need sauce.

German Chocolate Cake Cookies

This is the easiest cookie I've ever made. Just dumped the three ingredients in my standing mixer for a few seconds and that was it. I made the balls smaller and rolled them in powdered sugar (my daughter 4 year old daughter loved helping with that part) for a different look. I frosted mine with regular chocolate frosting but the possibilities are endless. Good stuff!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I was looking for a moist pumpkin bread and this is it! I sent some in a care package to my brother who is in the Navy and out to sea and he agreed that it was the best pumpkin bread we've tried.

Chickpea Curry

Like others, I used ground cloves and cinnamon and it was still great. My 14 year old son is a vegetarian and he makes this dish all the time now.

Curried Coconut Chicken

This was really good. I was out of tomato sauce and I used chicken thighs instead of breasts and it turned out fine. Even my little ones liked it and they hate coconut. Will definately make again.
