We followed the recipe as instructed. It was okay. Too heavy of a dish for us.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
It was pretty good. I added sliced mushrooms. I ended up adding another can of french onion soup because the full bottle of beer had overtaken it. All I had was Budweiser. I may try a better beer next time!

Easy and good! It was a nice change from eggplant parm. I threw a little garlic powder in with the egg and water. Husband and I loved it!

Chicken Paprikash II

I am hungarian and have grown up with a simple recipe that my mother made with butter salt and paprika and sour cream. I must say this recipe blows hers away! It has so much more flavor and kick! They only change I made was insted of bacon grease I used butter!

It was pretty good. Something different. Do add the peppers later. I didn't and they were mushy.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
I have made many apple pie recipies and never have I had so many requests for this one!! I do add cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg as others have. I cheat and use Pilsbury crusts and brush with egg wash. The Granny smiths are great in this recipe! This is how I will be making my pie from now on!

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
I just made this for the first time and it was really good! I had 4 cups of blueberries on hand and used them all. I added 2 tablespoons instead of 3 because I did not want it overly sweet. I had no OJ and used 1/3 cup water instead. Will make again!

Chili Rick's

I followed the recipe but cut in exactly in half. Too much with the barbecue sauce. It was like barbecued meat! Will not make again!

This was a really easy and good weekday dinner. I had a 2.5 lb eye of round and followed the recipe exactly. Turned it on at 6am and when I got home at 5pm dinner was ready. Husband ate three sandwiches! Will be a keeper!

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
The crowd pleaser! It vanishes everytime I make it! Only added about a tablespoon of sugar. This time I let people take it how they wanted it...over gingerale, stright up or over Asti Spumante champaigne. SOOO GOOD! Make sure you double or triple the recipe and make a day ahead.
