One Bowl Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2007
While I really liked this, my husband wasn't as enthralled as I had hoped he would be. He said it needed something to "perk it up".....as he reached for the Worcestershire Sauce....which he puts on everything. Why do I listen???

Delicious Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2007
This was great! I used a can of cream of celery and a can of cream of chicken and added chopped celery to the mixture for a little crunch. I also used chopped fresh onion, but it would have been ok with dried. Also, as other readers have mentioned, more rice is needed. Perhaps the rice in the ingredient list should say uncooked instead of cooked thereby doubling the rice? My husband who doesn't like his foods to touch, asked for seconds. That's worth a five start rating all by itself.

Flavorful Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
Good Recipe - especially for substitutions - I didn't have carrots or snowpeas - used green peppers and onions instead - added a little stir fry sauce to the veggies for just a little more flavor. Thanks for posting!

I must have done something wrong...my chops were tough with little flavor. But they sure did smell good cooking!

Tasty Tender Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2006
While this was excellent, it was way too sweet. I will make this again, but will cut the majority of the honey.

Blue Plate Beef Patties

I loved not only the end result, but the ease of getting there. Very quick, easy and delicious. I added the Worcestershire Sauce as someone else suggested and put the horseradish in with the meat as also suggested.

Cafeteria Macaroni and Cheese

Excellent recipe. Even my husband who groaned when I told him what we were having for supper loved it - told me it was a keeper. I doubled the mustard, hot sauce and worcestershire sauce to suit our tastes. Thanks for posting this recipe.

Kelsey's Favorite Stuffed Green Peppers

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
Even following some other reviewers suggestions I found this to be somewhat bland. I will try again but will add far more spices. It's a good basic starter recipe.

Porcupine Meatballs III

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
Great taste! Loved the sauce! I too added the Worcestershire sauce both to the meatball mix and to the sauce. I'm going to use this recipe the next time I make stuffed green peppers - far better taste than the recipe I've used in the past.

Five stars for ease and five stars for taste and another five because my husband ate the first batch almost all by himself!

Steak Stir-Fry

This is great - I had to use teriyaki sauce because I didn't have soy - used broccoli and green peppers for veggies...this makes a nice sauce.

Bourbon Chicken

EXCELLENT! My non-chicken eating husband enjoyed it twice in one week! I'm thrilled with it, especially good with chicken thighs which tend to be less expensive. A real keeper in our house!
