About this Cook
I really am more into health and exercise than cooking but as I got older have been playing with making my own creations and trying things I read.
My favorite things to cook
I love seafood, chicken dishes, healthy breads. My absolute best tasting and healthy dish is actually spaghetti .. I use lean beef, artichoke hearts, fresh spinach, fresh garlic and organic tomato sauce plus organic crushed tomatoes ... very good over spinach or wheat noodles.
My favorite family cooking traditions
some old school favs are my family's banana bread and chicken with rice dishes. Loved my grandpa's corned beef and potatoes but haven't figured it out yet :)
My cooking triumphs
my breads.
My cooking tragedies
my fiance is a profound established Chef at a high end restaurant that he is partial owner of. a couple of times I asked him to teach me but he was SO "involved" I guess that he would just take over as opposed to teaching me so I couldn't really learn from him. Love his food and although I eat well never really learned to do it on my own. Trying though!

Best Ever Meatloaf I
This IS the best ever! My first meatloaf lol and it turned out perfect! I added only two small variations ... I pressed one clove of garlic and added about two tablespoons of Pick A Peppa sauce. My Mom loved it and is going to start using this recipe herself! She took a piece home to my brother. It was moist and held together and was wonderful. And here's the kicker ... my boyfriend who happens to be a top chef always said he didn't like meatloaf so we never have it which is why I looked up a recipe and made it myself. He had only had his Mom's before and never made it himself. He tried it and finished it off haha, he said it was "awesome!". It will probably be a once a week at our house now. Thanks for the awesome recipe! Sandy

Artichoke and Crabmeat Triangles
Heads Up from a the Chef! My husband is a Chef and I am always looking for things that I can cook for HIM lol ... these were awesome, he agreed, and easy for me. I added a little organic turmeric for health which gave some spice and hit the broiler for some extra crunch but we both loved the muffin idea, it cooked right into them! Very nice!
