Amish White Bread

Very good recipe. I normally use slightly less suger and use as our sandwhich bread. Slices very thin and holds it's shape very well.

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

Excellent. I wasn't sure whether to use this recipe which used more chicken stock or another that used more milk and cream. Glad I chose this one. I did a few shortcuts...I cooked the bacon 1/2 way and then added the veggies as I got them chopped up (although the bacon I use is quite lean so no risk of too much fat). I also used a potato masher at the end rather then taking the time for food processor/mixer and extra clean up. Still had perfect consistency. Will make again. Thank you.

Cowboy Stew I

Very good alternative to normal chili. Used ground venison and worked well. Mine turned out slightly sweet which I think was from the type of baked beans I used. Family approved.

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings)

First time to ever make pierogi. These were a little time consuming but very good and would follow the recipe again-hopefully to get quicker at making them. I find these better than any from the church sales we usually get them from.

Gazpacho Salad

Have tried this recipe many times with fresh from the garden and store bought vegetables and herbs. Turns out great every time and is perfect for summer cookouts. Great by itself or on a hot dog or hamburger. I always add fresh basil only because I love basil not because the recipe needs it.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

5 stars for ease and versatility. But 4 for flavor. Adds a little flavor but better to plan on adding another sauce. On the other hand...after having sandwiches one night I used the remaining meat for taco's. Just added a little taco seasoning and water.
