Spicy Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
My fiance and I have never had a turkey burger before, and these were awesome! I cut the recipe in half and made the patties up ahead of time so they were able to dry out just a tad before grilling. I added lettuce, a slice of red onion and a slice of provolone cheese on the bun. I dipped mine in mayo (and added a couple bananna peppers on the side), and my fiance dipped his in thousand Island. I want to make these again this weekend!

Roasted Chicken with Risotto and Caramelized Onions

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
This was the best thing I have ever tasted in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used 3 small onions instead of 1 and added some fresh sliced mushrooms. Other than that, I followed the recipe exact! I have been raving about this to my family and friends and I can't stop thinking about it! Thanks, Michele!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
To Die For! Better than any restaurant's wings. I followed the recipe exactly, but tripled everything. I heated up the leftovers in the oven in a glass dish at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes and they turned out just as great as the first time! Thanks for the recipe. I think I might try these with a BBQ sauce some time.

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2009
By far the best marinade I've ever had. I made two 1 lb steaks (doubled the recipe) and my fiance and I both ate the whole steaks (along with the mashed potatoes with fried onions and mushrooms from this site - awesome!)

Jay's Jerk Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
Wow. This recipe is AWESOME!!!! I followed the recipe exactly, but I only had 2 1/2 hours to marinade the chicken. I cut the chicken breast halves in half. This seemed to add more flavor. I grilled the chicken (on high) for about 12 minutes. The chicken was so juicy and the flavor was unbelievable! My fiance never had anything jerk before, and he said this is now his favorite meal. Thank you very much for sharing - we're going to make it again next week :)

Roasted Cajun Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
Wow; these were great; now my new favorite potato. I followed the recipe exactly except I added more cayenne pepper. I don't have a roasting pan, so I used a large air-bake sheet (with sides). I baked them for probably 50 minutes. They were starting to blacken a bit (which was awesome). We dipped these in Ranch. Sour cream was good, too. Definitly a keeper!

Dijon-Tarragon Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
Wow, this was excellent, except I did not use tarragon. My fiance said it is now his favorite pasta. I never had tarragon before, so after buying it, I smelled it. Unexpected, it smelled like black liquorish, and surprise - it tasted like it, too. I hate black liquorish, so I threw in fresh thyme instead. I tripled the sauce, plus I added 1 1/2 chopped onions and 8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms. I added a big splash of white wine after taking the chicken out to saute the veggies in. I put in 2 cups of heavy cream (instead of 1 1/2) because I wasn't paying attention, but it was perfect! As far as the chicken (used 3 chicken breast halves), I rubbed it with a bit of dijon and marinaded for an hour. Then I sprinkled both sides with salt and pepper and coated with flour. I set it back in the fridge until I was ready to cook this. I served this over 8 oz of linguini. My fiance and I ate it all up!

By far the best mac & cheese I have ever had! Instead of Meunster I used Mozzarella. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. It really puts the boxed stuff to shame.

Tex-Mex Beef and Cheese Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2009
This was very good. My fiance loves mexican food and freaked out over this. I doubled the spices and added another 2 cups of cheese (I'm from Wisconsin). I put this in a 9x13 pyrlex dish and I did not have a problem with these sticking. However, the pan was heaping so I put some aluminum foil underneath when baking. I'm glad I did because there was some overflow. Also, I'm not sure how 2 Tblsp of oil can last for all 12 torillas. I ended up using about 1/2 cup total.

Three Cheese Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
I really wasn't impressed with this one. I mixed the garlic with the cream like another review suggested and I added about 1 cup mozzarella. I baked this at 350, covering for the first half an hour, but it turned out more like soup and some of the potatoes still were not cooked enough. I will not make again, but thanks for the recipe anyway.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
Exellent flavor! I loved the cilantro on a pizza. Adding the peppers (I added only 3/4 cup)and onions are a must. I used a pillsbury dough (from the can) and we grilled the chicken. I mixed a bit of BBQ sauce with the chicken before topping the crust as another reviewer stated so that it wouldn't dry out. I also added another cup of cheese.
