Southwest White Chicken Chili

very good and quick recipe. I made a few minor changes: 1. used chicken broth instead of water. 2. added some chopped jalapeno, diced tomato and garlic 3. omitted the green pepper because I don't like them.

Banana Chip Muffins I

Yummy muffin. 4 stars because I changed a few things based on other reviews. Added 1tsp vanilla and cinnamon. Used 1/2 cup of milk instead of 1/4. Used extra chocolate chips and banana. Next time I may add a little more vanilla but these came out really good and light.

Cheesecake Cookie Cups

Really good...though it is VERY sweet. I topped the cups with a dark chocolate ganache and they were to die for but were very rich. I think for a lighter option I will top with fresh fruit (not the pie filling).

Fish Fillets Italiano

This recipe was OK. It's a good starter but I had to add a lot to it to give it more flavor. I added fresh basil, kosher salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and extra garlic. Served it over wild rice.

Alaskan Halibut Lasagna

Good but VERY rich. The next time I make it I will reduce the butter and probably use half and half instead of cream. I added thinly sliced zucchini and yellow pepper. Will add more veggies next time as well.

Butter Bean Burgers

In all fairness to this recipe, the flavor was fine but I just didn't like the texture of these burgers. I used breadcrumbs instead of crackers, but otherwise made as directed. I won't make again, but if you need to prepare a meal for vegetarian friends this probably a good choice.

Tortilla Soup II

very good and easy to make. I did make a few changes. I used a store bought rotisserie chicken because it's quicker. added: extra can of diced tomatoes, 1 can of jalapeno's, corn, black beans, black olives. Deleted: cilantro (don't like it), cayenne pepper. I also used store bought tortillas because it was quicker but I'm sure home made ones are fantastic with this.

Four Cheese Margherita Pizza

Cornbread Muffins I

I didn't really care for the texture of these muffins and they weren't sweet enough. As a base recipe it's OK, but I'd have to add quite a bit to it so that it was sweet and moist enough for my liking.

Asian Salad

This is a good start to an asian salad recipe. You can play with it to make it to your liking. I definitely agree with those that say serve the dressing on the side. I used chili/sesame oil instead of vegetable oil, gave the dressing a nice kick.

Halibut Steaks

I will definitely make this again. I used vegetables I had on hand and didn't cook them as long so they would remain slightly crispy after baking with the fish. I also put put about 1/2 tbsp of butter in with the fish while it baked. Gives a nice rich flavor.
