Seafood Chowder

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2013
It was REALLY GOOD. I prefered to add fresh parsely instead of dried when I added the seafood to cook. I only used shrimps, calamari and scallops. Also, I added a veggie bouillon for extra kick. Its great for next day meal also.

Salmon with Dill

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
First time to cook Salmon and I fell in love with. Never thought dill would ever go well with fish. This recipe is very simple but yet delicious. However, I replaced the butter with olive oil and fried the salmon on a pan. I rubbed the fillets with salt/pepper/dill and olive oil, then placed the skin side directly on a hot pan. PERFECT! Then to make a sauce, I added lemon juice, vinegar and a bit of butter to the pan I used to fry the salmon. Served it with jasmine rice, was a HIT!

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
I'm telling you, this cheesecake is sinful! its a bit heavy but worth it. The only suggestion I would make is, to keep it for couple of hours in the fridge too cool down and firm. DIVINE!

A great recipe, YUMMMYY! I did few alterations, I replaced dark choco (didn't have any) with coca powder and I have cut back half of the sauce. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
I baked these cookies 2 days in a row! My family LOVED it! It was chewwwy, fat and big! Mines turned out great, a bit crunchy from the outside and chewy from the inside! N ofcourse it wasn't a cake like cookies not even close. I made few changes, I reduced the brown sugar to 3/4 c and I took abt 2tbs away from the white sugar, I added extra 1/2tsp baking powder, and reduced the chips to 1.5C! In the 2nd time I made these cookies I made sure to rest the dough in the fridge for an hour; it made a difference!! It's a keeeper :D

I used mozzarella and emmental cheese (it gave a sharp taste to the sauce), yummmm yummm!! If i'll cook this again, I'll add chicken to it!!

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
The cake was GREAT although I made little changes. (1) I didn’t have buttermilk, so I used milk instead. (2) I had ¼ cup butter, so I added ½ cup vegetable oil. (3) I added more than 1 ½ cup of mashed bananas, I just wanted to get rid of the plenty ripe bananas I had. (4) I baked the cake for 1hr 5mins it took long time to be ready. My mum LOVED it!!!
