Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2013
Always delicious! I have made this numerous times. I never add liquid. Usually, I place the turkey on baby carrots and the carrots are also very tasty.

Almond Flour Waffles

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
I made one with the recipe as is and it was way too soft so I added more blanched almond flour for the next one. Then I tried adding a little oil, then more flour and a little milk trying to get a crispy waffle. Didn't work - I don't want to go through the trouble of whipping egg whites. If I wanted a soft aqnd fluffy breakfast food item I would have made pancakes. They also do burn VERY easy as another reviewer said.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
I substituted honey flavored agave because I wanted low glycemic index and completely forgot about adding the cayenne pepper but they were still delicious.

Applesauce Fruitcake

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
I always made the fruitcake with the mincemeat and sweetened condensed milk; but this year I decided to try this, because I had a lot of applesauce leftover from something else. It is wonderfully moist with the right balance of spices. This is my new tradition!

Holiday Left-Over Sweet Potato Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
I was skeptical when I saw the beer and all the Baking powder and soda, but it was delicious. It wasn't very sweet because my potatoes weren't; and since I had pecans in my potatoes, I added more to this recipe. I will add more spices next time though.

Butter Chickpea Curry

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
When I saw that this recipe used canned tomato soup I just had to try it, because I love cooking with canned soup. It's my one guilty habit in my effort to be more green and use mainly fresh organic ingredients! This recipe was very tasty. I substituted cauliflower and used fat free half and half. I also minced an inch of fresh ginger with the garlic instead of using powder. Will defintely make it again.
