Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
I absolutely loved this recipe! I was a little nervous about trying it because I'm not a very experienced cook, but it turned out wonderful!

Alfredo Mostaccioli

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
I love alfredo sauce and have been looking for a recipe for a long time. I'm happy to say I have finally found a keeper. I was a litte skeptical at first because I expected the sauce to be a little bit thicker, but it was delicious! I sauteed half a pound of shrimp in olive oil, white wine, garlic and pepper and added to the sauce. It was a delicious meal that I will definitely be making again and again.

New Orleans Shrimp Toss

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2008
I made this for dinner last night and am so glad I did! This was one of the best recipes I have had in a long time! I did make a few substitutions though. I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil, regular cream of chicken soup instead of the one with herbs, omitted the chives and served over penne pasta instead of a biscuit or cornbread. I also cooked the sauce and shrimp for a lot longer than what the recipe called for on very, very low heat. Next time I think I will add scallops and serve over rice.

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
This was okay. My boyfriend loved it, but I wasn't too thrilled with it. I think it might have been the teriyaki sauce that I used. I will try this again with another type of teriyaki sauce.

Great Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
I had this for dinner tonight with lasagna and it was absolutely delicious! I did, however, make a few modifications. I used unsalted butter so instead of 1 1/2 tablespoons of garlic powder I used 1 tablespoon garlic powder and 1/2 tablespoon garlic salt. Instead of mozzarella, I used a six cheese blend. I will definitely make this again and again. Thanks for the recipe! Update-I made this again last night and instead of melting the butter and mixing in remaining ingredients, I softened the butter stirred in the garlic, parsley and half of the cheese and spread evenly over the bread. Baked for 10min then added the rest of the cheese and baked for an additional 5min. Try it this way. You will not be disappointed!

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
This was awesome! Just the right amount of spice! I made a few very minor changes. I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil just because that is my preference, doubled the sauce and prepared a bag of frozen stir fry vegetables according to package directions and added to shrimp/sauce mixture just before serving over rice. I will definitely make this again and again!

Seafood Fettuccine

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2008
To me this was just okay. It seemed as if it were missing something. I kept reading over the recipe to see if I had left something out because all the other reviewers were raving over it. I will try again with a few modifications to see if I can get it to suit my taste.

This was so easy to make and very good. I'm anxious to try it again with peach instead of apricot and maybe add in some veggies.

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2008
I have made these twice and everyone who has tried them loved them! They are so easy to make and taste great. I used the garlic butter cresent rolls and they were really good. The first time I made them I used a whole chicken breast and the second time I used two cans of white meat chicken. Both were delicious! Next time I'm going to try adding some veggies.

Asian Roll Lettuce Wrap

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
These are delicious!! Instead of making the turkey into meat balls, I browned it with green onions, red pepper, green pepper, an onion and the soy sauce and seasonings. To serve, I tore a lettuce leaf into small pieces (it was much easier to eat this way), topped with rice, turkey mixture, shredded carrots and the sauce. I can't get enough of this! It's hard to believe something this easy to make and healthy can taste so wonderful!!

Red Potato Bites

These were really good! I recommend microwaving the potatoes and using Oscar Meyer real bacon pieces as it is much, much faster! I also mixed most of the cheddar cheese in with the potato filling and then topped with the remaining cheese.
