Lemon Horseradish New Potatoes

Reviewed: May 23, 2014
Very good, but the horseradish taste was a little too mild for me. With the addition of more horseradish these would be 5 star

Grilled Beer Chicken

Reviewed: May 14, 2014
I used chicken legs and made the marinade on the stove top instead of the microwave. I used half the marinade for my chicken and the other half on vegetable medley cooked on the grill

Filet Mignons With Pepper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2013
I substituted NY Strip for the Filet Mignons and added a little cooking sherry to the sauce. These were delicious! I can finally eat steak when the weather doesn't allow for grilling!

Best Ever Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2009
This was pretty good! I did make some changes though, which is why I only gave it four stars. I cut my raw chicken into bite sized pieces and browned it in olive oil, white wine, lemon juice and lightly seasoned it. I also added a bit of cheddar cheese to the mixture before baking. I think next time I will add broccoli as well. Very good base recipe!

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
Delicious! Tastes like it came from a restaurant! I used two 14.5oz cans of diced tomatoes with garlic, oregano and onions, in place of the tomatoes this recipe called for just to save on time. The leftovers were really good too!

Florida Seafood Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
This was good, but there wasn't a whole lot of flavor to it. I think next time I might add some scallops and maybe saute the seafood in some olive oil and seafood seasoning before adding to the rest of the mixture. I will definitely be making this again so I can tweak to our fit our taste.

Chicken Piccata with Artichoke Hearts

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
This was really good! I cut the chicken into a little bit smaller pieces than the recipe called for. I also had trouble getting the sauce to thicken as much as I would like so I ended up adding about a tablespoon and a half of flour to it. I'm not too crazy about capers so next time I might reduce the amount or omit them altogether. Overall this was a really good recipe and I can't wait to make it again :)

Tropical Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
I made this for dinner tonight and was not the least bit impressed. Neither my boyfriend or I could finish even half our plates. I think it called for way too much orange and lemon zest. If I try this again I will only used 1 tsp of each and add lemon juice as well.

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
This was really easy to make and very good too! Used half the chicken, because there are only two of us, and kept the other ingredients the same. I wish I would used the right amount of chicken because both of us wanted more! Next time I think I might top chicken with a slice of thinly sliced ham before the swiss cheese.

Vegetable Pizza I

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
This is sooo good! I have made this twice in a weeks' time and can't wait to make it again! I omitted the tomato and added red pepper because I don't care for tomatoes, but other than that followed the recipe exactly.
