This is the fifth Thanksgiving for which I've made this stuffing. I made it exactly as directed the first three years, and it was amazing every time. The only problem with it is that there are never any leftovers because everyone devours it!
Last year I added dried cranberries, and that was delicious. I just added dried cranberries and two Granny Smith apples (for a 20-serving batch,) and it's another hit! (I personally prefer it without the apples but with the cranberries, but my husband loves it with both. Either way, it's delicious. Thanks for this great recipe, it's definitely become a family favorite.
I agree with all the other reviewers who said to only add the broth a bit at a time. I don't even measure it, I just add a bit and stir, add and stir, until the mixture is all coated but not soaked.
