Cafeteria Carrot Souffle

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2003
A++++++++ THIS IS ALMOST TOO GOOD FOR A MEAL, WOULD BE WONDERFUL ALONE. Great as a side to ham. This dish is very easy to make and quite delicious. It goes very well with so many things! It's even better leftover! Would be a great dish for a buffet, brunch, lunch, dinner or family gathering! I do blend the carrots because I like it to have a smooth consistency rather than chunky.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2004
The absolute best and easiest cinnamon roll ever. I always double the recipe including the frosting. I keep some frosting in the fridge to add extra to the bun and microwave for a late night snack.

Wonderful soup for cold days! I made it without the ham though, I don't particularly enjoy ham, but I enjoy potatoes. It was very yummy even without the ham! Easy to make and oh so yummy!!!!

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
I have been searching for some time for a good cream of broccoli soup and I have found a winner! This soup is delicious, easy and just plain wonderful. The only change I would make is to add some salt and a bit more pepper, that's just my preferences though! Even the kids liked this one!

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
Super easy, very yummy. I used Betty Crocker Dark Chocolate cake mix. They sort of reminded me of oreos so then I found a nice buttercream recipe on allrecipes and filled the cookies for sandwich cookies....better than oreos!!!

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
I'm the odd man out on this recipe. I know most people reviewed how much they loved it, but honestly, this won't be making a repeat appearance. After reading the reviews I made some adjustments and it tasted like a baked, dry burger with soup pour over it. I did reduce the ketchup and didn't add salt, there was plenty of sodium with just the soups. The gravy was ok, the meat wasn't.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2011
This recipe is just so easy! It's a hit with all members of the family. We have had it without the cream, just a tomato sauce based dinner and it's just as good, if not better! You can leave out the red pepper if you are not a fan of spicy foods. The sauce (minus cream and the pasta) freezers beautifully for an easy meal during the week. It is great leftover, just store the pasta separately. I'm getting hungry just writing this review!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
Fantastic and easy to make. I just butterflied the chicken, rather than slicing and stuffing and rolling. It's easy and tasty. You could do it without the bacon. I also substituted fat free sour cream and it worked well. Great crowd pleaser. Would be perfect for a buffet.

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
Amazingly easy and amazingly yummy! I've been looking for a good fagioli recipe for some time. I'm not a big fan of oregano, but in this recipe it's hardly noticeable. This is a great recipe. I doubled it for my family of six so we would have leftovers. I would encourage you to cook the pasta right in this pot and serve with some extra parm cheese and a fantastic loaf of crusty bread! Who needs potpourri to fill their house with smell - this does the trick!

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
These are just WONDERFUL. Thumbs up from all my kids! I was skeptical at first; wondering what made them taste "donut" but gosh darn the name is right! These darling little muffins are so yummy and easy. I followed some advice of others and didn't dip my muffin in melted butter. I brushed the tops and sprinkled cinnamon sugar over them while they were hot and that was just enough taste. They didn't rise at all and so I would definitely fill them more than 1/2 way. I would definitely double if not triple the recipe as the first batch went so quick. Also based on recommendations of other reviewers used 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg which was just enough (I hate nutmeg anyhow).

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2011
Absolutely superb! The only change I would recommend is lowering the oven temp to 350 if you are using dark pans. Otherwise, don't change a thing - other than the amount you make! This recipe is just fantastic. I will NEVER use boxed banana bread/muffin ever again. Super easy. I would highly recommend doubling the recipe. I have four kids and we went through one recipe in one breakfast. Usually when I bake I like to make an extra batch for the freezer. I made four batches so that I would have some for the freezer.

Excellent recipe. It doesn't freeze well, but that was not too much of a problem to eat it all week! Rave reviews with my son. I used real cheese rather than processed cheese. Very yummy!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2013
Been a stove top family for years. One try of this, well, no, two actually, and we are hooked. The first time I didn't follow the suggestions of less liquid and I regretted it, I had stuffing soup. Tried it again, using half the butter and only once cup of broth and PERFECT! you can always add more liquid, removing it proved challenging. It's flavorful and fantastic. totally frees up oven and microwave space for Thanksgiving day. You can easily make it the night before and have it on overnight or prepare first thing in the morning for dinner. It's great!
