Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
Excellent! Big, thick pancakes with a great flavor. I added a lot more blueberries because I needed to use them up.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
Used this recipe as a guideline and the applesauce turned out wonderfully. My 5 yr old enjoyed making it because there were few ingredients and the results were pretty fast. Tasty and fun!

Best Broccoli Cheddar Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
A delicious and very easy soup (even my 18 month old liked it!). This is a great base to play around with too, our store didn't have cauliflower soup so we used leek.

Holiday Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
Great basic recipe! I split the batter into batches and added dried cranberries to one and dried chopped dates to the other. Excellent.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2010
I had already made turkey broth and was just checking recipes for some soup ingredient ideas. I took the idea of adding half-and-half, fat free, and flour to my own broth along with the sauteed carrots, onions, and celery. I also added some chicken bouillon and pasta (no rice in the house). This was so good! Part of what makes this such a great recipe is how much it can be altered for different needs or tastes.

Baby BLT

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
SO good! I followed lots of advice from others including salting the tomatoes and draining them on a paper towel. I also mixed half mayo and half cream cheese. I used Capri tomatoes which are larger, and I was able to use a paring knife and my finger to clear out the tomatoes. Also, because this was for a special party, I tore a tiny piece of Romaine lettuce and tucked it into each tomato half. Beautiful and tasty!

Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
Other than using store bought pie crusts, I followed this recipe exactly and it came out beautifully. Make sure you let it set up for a few minutes before cutting it so the filling sets. Mine looked messy because I didn't wait, but the taste was fantastic.

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
Very tasty, much more flavor than simply slicing bananas into a regular pancake batter. I used my potato masher to mash the bananas and it was very simple to do.
