Barbeque Bacon Chicken Bake
I added some seasoned salt and fresh cracked black pepper to the chicken and it still could have used some additional salt but overall was very good. I was afraid to add too much salt not knowing how salty the bacon would be. We added cheese to one to try it out and you definitely need something acidic to offset it. So next time I will try adding the tomato as some have suggested. It pleased everyone because we all love bacon, my son doesn't like fried chicken or any kind of coating on chicken and it seems to be pretty versatile even making it in one dish. We used Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce too. Definitely will tweak and try again!

Chocolate Pretzels
I have been making this recipe for forever! It's a great one for the kids to help, but I suggest 4+ due to the speed needed once the pretzels & kisses come outta the oven. I always get my round pretzels at WalMart, but they are a local brand...and the kisses fit almost perfectly. You can also sprinkle on colored sugar while still warm. I cover my trays with alum foil & after the m&m is added I put the trays right in the freezer! With all the new kisses out there now (especially around holidays) there are a wide variety of options! I have even used the peanut butter kisses and put half a roasted peanut in the center instead of m&ms. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND as a great activity for the kids!

Porcupines
I have used a similar recipe for years using a large can of tomato juice instead of tomato sauce (it will reduce)as our family likes the additional sauce and instant rice. This is a great recipe to take to a potluck dinner or office party...always a hit!
