Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
These cookies are delicious!! I found the same recipe on the back of "Reese's Peanut Butter Chips" I did a little substituting though. I replaced HALF of the butter with apple sauce (the 'no sugar added' kind, and used 1-1/2 cups of sugar (because, the apple sauce already has some sweetness to it). And for those of you whose cookies that spread too much, I only softened my butter not melt them. and chill the dough, lastly use parchment/wax paper. I find that my cookies don't spread out as much when I use them. I hope my tips help! =)

Japanese Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
Very simple-to-follow recipe. Texture of the cake was really thin. It smelled wonderful. But I tasted more egg than the cheese...which was kind of gross.

I was skeptical when I took the cheesecake cups out of the oven, as it was my first time making these. However, after I completed the last step .. chill in fridge for 1 hour, I wasn't anymore! The cheesecakes were so delicious! the recipe is so simple to follow!

Honey Walnut Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
I made two types of sauces, the first one was as directed on the recipe. It came out too sweet for my taste. So I made a second one, except this time, I customized it. I reduced the condensed milk to 1 TBS and I took out the honey, and replaced it with 1 1/2 tsp of coconut extract. the second sauce turned out wonderful! Absolutely delicious!
