About this Cook
Hello :) My name is Diane. I'm 17. And I'm a complete foodie. I play hockey and have a keen interest in photography & cooking, especially when they're mixed. Food Porn, as I like to call it. I have many accounts online: flickr.com/hockeydiane/ deviantart.com/dianeish/ myspace.com/diane-ish Feel free to contact me (:
My favorite things to cook
I started off baking, and I still love it. But now I also cook dinner at home a few nights a week. Really there isn't one thing I love more than another: as long as it tastes amazing.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Eating fresh things. My grandma had a garden with tomatoes, asparagus, corn, carrots, raspberry's and a bunch of other things. I remember being sent out in the late afternoon to get dinner. :)

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews
Made it as the recipe is (no mods, I used margarine though) and it was wonderful! It also works great as a pasta sauce for egg noodles. I might reduce it a bit so it's a bit thicker but you wouldnt want it too "saucy" as it is very sweet.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
I have tried many, many chocolate chip cookie recipes and this is now my go to. It is simply the best, I always get asked for the recipe/ get told how amazing they are. I'm so happy to have found a recipe for my favorite cookie.

Crustless Spinach Quiche
Amazing. The only difference was that I used old cheddar and probably cooked for 35-40 minutes.
