Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
I made this for a baby shower and everyone loved it. At the beginning I was not too sure because I thought the balsamic vinegar was going to be too overpowering but it actually made it taste great. I saved some for my father who asked me to make it again.

Garlic Creamed Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
This was not one of my favorite dishes. It was edible and my family did not complain, but I guess I did not like the can of mushroom soup, cream cheese, and sour cream combo. I did do a few things differently which I think made it better. I seasoned the chicken with garlic powder and browned it and sauteed some mushrooms along with it. Other than that I followed the recipe.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
Really good recipe!! Although I did a few things different because I was too lazy to go to the store! Instead of lemon I used lime b/c thats all I had. I used fettucini instead of linguine. I used cooked shrimp. I did not have white wine so I doubled the amount of chicken broth. I also decreased the amount of pepper 1tsp and a half. I increased the amount of butter by two tbs. Since I did not have fresh basil I used dry. It was really good and I will def make it again! Thanks!! :)

Basil Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
Great recipe!! I came across it because I was looking for soups that were not chunky because I just got braces and right now it hurts to eat anything solid. I did do a few changes b/c of what others wrote. I used fat free milk instead of the cream, and I did not have fresh basil so I used dry, and I added garlic powder (which made it smell so good and also made it taste really good). Thanks for posting this recipe!! Will continue to make it even after I get used to the braces! :)

Grilled Cilantro Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
I didnt like it all that much. It might just be b/c I dont really like salmon to begin with. I thought I'd try it b/c I read a review that mentioned her kids not liking salmon and loved it after she prepared it this way. I guess I'm just not a fish person. Oh well... Thanks for sharing anyways!

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
This was really good! Of course I made a few changes b/c of what others wrote. I bought fresh spinach and chopped it up and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds which was more than enough. Then I sauteed fresh mushrooms with the garlic and the onions. Instead of the Feta cheese I used Mexican mozzarella actually made from Mexico (My relatives had just come from Mexico and they like bringing us cheese. It tastes different than the mozzarella you find in the store. I feel it taste much better). Oh I forgot to mention that I skipped on the butter and used olive oil. I also skipped the salt since the Mexican mozzarella is salty enough. In the egg and milk mix I only used two eggs and put what I thought would fit in the pie of milk. Also did not need the indicated time of cooking. Took it out when I saw it was set. My family loved it!! Even my father who doesnt really like food that isnt Mexican loved it! Thanks for sharing!

Mushroom Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2010
This was really good! I followed the advice of other readers and added onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to the flour! Also I did not have chicken breast available so I used 8 chicken tenders and it came out so good! My mom said it was the best tasting chicken she had ever tasted. Oh and I also sauteed the mushrooms with some garlic and they came out very flavorful! Also to cut down on some calories I only used 3 tablespoons of butter and 3 tablespoons of olive oil! Thanks for sharing! :)

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

I dont know if I did it wrong or not but mine came out too gooey. I made the pudding mix and added it... maybe we were supposed to add it in dry form. The recipe did not specify.

Homemade Banana Pudding Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
This was great! Even my mom who usually does not like banana desserts liked it!!! Thanks for sharing! The reason I stumbled across this recipe was because my boyfriend asked me to make him a banana pudding pie because his aunt makes one, but I think she uses the instant pudding mix. I hope he likes it when I make it for him.

Quick and Easy Chicken, Broccoli and Brown Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
It was a very easy recipe, although I did cook slow cooking rice beforehand. It was good and seemed like a very healthy meal too. My brother kept suggesting that I should have added cheese to it. Might try that next time. Will let you all know how that turns out.

Bermuda Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
I loved this salad!! It was sooo good!! Although I do agree that 2lbs is too much spinach! So I cut it down to one lbs. The dressing was really good although I would recommend cutting down on the onion just a bit. Will definitely make it again! =) Thank you for sharing!
