Curried Coconut Chicken

Follow the recipe to the letter. I think it should be made with sweetened coconut milk. I used mild curry powder and this was flavorless. But I noticed that others commented on how bland it was. I agree with the other reviewer who suggested the curry, onions and spices cook for much longer before adding anything else to it. I would also add a second can of tomatoes. Thank you for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Carolina BBQ

I haven't had anything this good since I left Virginia Beach! This is a tasty pulled pork Carolina bbq sandwich alright. Doesn't get much better than this!

Party Cake Frosting

I made this per instruction, it was interesting. The sugar never dissolved fully and it never quite reached the stiff peak stage. It got close and then seemed to want to separate again. Not sure exactly what I did wrong. Tastes very sugary. Will try again another time.

Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce

I did not have tomato sauce so used tomato paste. Ended up not using the flour to thicken it, came out pretty thick anyway. Did have to add quite a bit of salt. But otherwise very good.

Poor Man's Soup

This was pretty good. I let it simmer a little longer than 20 minutes. I used a large head of cabbage and ended up doubling the ingredients. I served with a nice crusty bread. Quick and easy. I did add some onion powder and pepper.

Jemput Jumput (Banana Fritters)

This was very good. I only had a couple of bananas but it still had a nice banana flavor. I tried to make a couple of them bigger, but they were not done in the middle. I did make a light glaze to go over it.

This was very tasty. but I did have problems rolling. I set in the fridge overnight and they were very hard. Left them out for a while on counter and they were softer but extremely sticky almost like caramel. But very tasty

Cream Cheese Kolacky

This is the Kolacky dough my grandmother always made. We use the Solo brand fruit fillings. These are tried and true and come out great everytime. My family just could not make it through the holidays with out them!
