Caramel Macchiato Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2011
Really good recipe but I think I will add an extra tablespoon of coffee next time as we didn't really taste it. As for the glaze after reading the other reviews I added approx. two to three tablespoons of powdered sugar. This helped the glaze set up a little and crust slightly so I could wrap the bread in plastic wrap so we could mail it to some friends. Thank you for the great recipe.

Mom's Scalloped Potatoes & Ham

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
My family loved this recipe. There was nothing left by the end of our meal. My daughter made a comment on how cheesy they are and she is one tough critic. This is a keeper and deserves more than five stars as there is nothing that needs to be added or changed to this recipe. Thank you!

Super Crunch Oven Cooked Honey Dipped Wings

My family loved this recipe. I used chicken breasts instead of wings. My son went back for seconds. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Buttermilk Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2011
I had some buttermilk to use up so I thought I would give this recipe a try. I wanted to like this recipe but I found the dough a little tough and my family just didn't seem to like them. With the Cinnabon recipe I can't keep them in the pan this one I had cinnamon rolls that had to be thrown away at the end of the week.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
I have made this cake many times for one of my coworkers.. I personally don't like the taste or texture of the recipe but this recipe has been requested many times. I used it for her wedding cake yesterday with my strawberry mousse and butter cream frosting. I do cut the milk recipe in half because she didn't want an extremely soggy cake. I like to add 1/8 teaspoon or two drops of coconut Loranne oil to the milks it adds that extra special touch. You can also substitute coconut milk for part of the milk mixture if you can't find coconut extract. If you are looking for a sturdy cake recipe and like tres leches give this recipe a try you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for a light airy cake then this ones not for you.

High Rise Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
I love these rolls. I have made them three times now and they just keep getting better. Light and fluffy and huge. I didn't have all of the ingredients on hand so this is what I used. I used two cups all purpose flour and one cup bread flour. Warm milk instead of buttermilk and Idaho loaded instant potatoes. They were wonderful. Please give this recipe a try you won't be disappointed. Either way as written or little changes this is a terrific recipe. Thank you.

Creme Brulee Cheesecake Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
These were good but I thought the crust was to tough. The taste was great but I think next time I will try adding a whole egg to see if it improves the texture of the crust. Still have some left over in the fridge so that means hubby wasn't overly thrilled with the recipe. I used Heath bars chopped in my food processor, worked great.

Angel Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
I made this pie for my brothers birthday. The meringue pie shell turned out great but the lemon filling I felt was a little runny. I tried folding in a little whipping cream and still seemed thin to me. If I decide to try again I will add a tablespoon or or two of cornstarch to thicken things up a little.

Artichoke Chicken

Wonderful recipe. I didn't have 15 ounces of artichokes only 6 ounces so I halved the topping and the recipe was still great. I will be making this one again. Thank you.

Homemade Crispy Seasoned French Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2010
Family loved these fries. The water amount is sightly off. It took about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups of water to achieve the correct consistency. I also thought there was way to much salt so I used 1 teaspoon onion salt, 1 teaspoon of Crazy Jane's salt and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder plus the suggested paprika. My daughter told me that my son really loved them and that he ate two plates of fries. Thank you so much for posting this recipe.

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
I loved these cookies. My daughters boyfriend loves oatmeal cookies so we couldn't decide between peanut butter or oatmeal. I found this recipe and figured what the heck it would combine both. They were soft, chewy and buttery just the way I like it. Thank you for posting this recipe.

Pistachio Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
Wonderful recipe. I did use regular pudding and whipped topping because we don't eat sugar substitutes. Just loved your recipe. I think next time I will try using whipped cream with instant pudding added to see if it holds up a little better. Starts to melt if left out for any amount of time. Thank you.

The Best Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
I was a little skeptical about the ranch dressing but I have to say this was really good. I couldn't even taste the salad dressing. I didn't use the pepperoncini's because I don't like them but I followed the rest of the recipe to the T. Thank you for sharing.

Aloha Chicken Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
This was good but I think it needed brown sugar added to the soy sauce. The soy was a little over powering. My daughter said it needed a little sweetness. I will try this the next time I make this recipe. Thank you for sharing.

Zucchini Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
I saw this recipe and wanted to prove to my dad that zucchini can be good. I made one for my dad and one for my family. My husband and my daughter loved it. I made a vanilla mousse using one pint whipping cream and one small box instant vanilla pudding. I did add one packet of brown sugar oatmeal and changed the sugar to 1/2 cup granulated and 1/4 cup brown sugar. I also cut the crumb recipe in half after reading the other reviews. My husband kept asking me how I could get zucchini to taste like apples. I just laughed. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Soft-N-Fluffy Hamburger Buns

Great recipe the only change I would make is to cut down the amount of sugar. Rolls had a sweet taste which I don't really want on my hamburger.

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
Loved this recipe. I would give it more stars if I could. My daughter who doesn't like steak or tacos in general loved these. She made a plate for her father and told me that she was taking the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I did alter the salsa only because I couldn't find the chili pods. I used one tablespoon New Mexico chili powder, one tablespoon sugar, one 14.5 ounce can of diced tomatoes with chili's and a little water. Thank you for the recipe my family loved it.
