Tomato Bisque III

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2014
This has become a go-to lunch recipe for us. I usually half the recipe but still use one whole carrot and one entire stalk of celery. Also, I use half butter and half olive oil for cooking the veggies, and I use half and half or heavy cream interchangably depending on what's in the fridge. It's always delicious!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Delicious! I followed some reviewers' suggestions and added vanilla, cinammon and nutmeg to the sauce. I mixed the sauce with the apples, then poured into the crust rather than pouring the sauce over everything. I saved a little sauce and brushed it onto the top crust. Amazing!

Yum! I recommend doubling the sauce but still using two apples. This is one of our favorite meals.

Maple-Garlic Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
Delicious! I've made this recipe a few times and found it easiest to discard the marinade, then heat all the same ingredients (plus a little soy sauce) on the stove. We grill up the pork chops (without basting), then pour the sauce on top. Thanks for a great recipe!
