Original Homemade Italian Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
Great recipe and pretty similar to one of my friend's! I made the following changes: I added only two packets of Italian dressing, added one can of beer, some Italian seasoning to taste, and added the actual banana pepper juice at the beginning of cooking so that the flavor cooks into the meat. I added the peppers and shredded the meat during the last hour. Also, I found they taste best when served on Hoagie buns and with some pepper jack cheese. Delicious! My husband loves these!

Cucumber Sandwiches III

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
Super easy and a big hit. I would highly recommend this for showers. Everyone loved them and they, honestly, took about 15 minutes. Just make sure to let the cream cheese mixture set in the fridge so the flavor develops to its full potential. I will make these often!

Awesomely easy dip! I followed another viewer's advise and used panko for topping. It was fantastic! The only problem is it's gone too fast! Everyone wants this recipe-Thanks!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
This was really good and super easy. I followed some of the other reviews and did the following: Added one can of chicken broth instead of water, 2 cups of frozen veggies (corn, peas, and green beans), and Cumin, Parsley, Pepper, Garlic Powder and Poultry Seasoning. I added one 16 oz can of large buttermilk biscuits. WOW! Simple and delicious, and I definitely will make again. Thanks for the recipe.

Probably the easiest way to make great G's and B's! Just add some salt and pepper and you're set. This was delish!

Creamy White Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2014
This was really good! Previous reviews mentioned that it was too "soupy", but I found it was just right after adding the creams. Excellent. Will make this version from now on. Thanks for sharing it!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
Great recipe! Super easy and makes a lot. Good flavoring. I used the beefy onion soup dry mix and added baby carrots, potatoes and mushrooms during the last couple of hours of cooking.

Baked Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2009
Great alternative to frying! These were super tasty, but I forgot to pat dry the wings prior to dipping them so they turned out just a little soggier than expected. My husband and I loved them! I will definitely use this recipe from now on!

French Toast I

Really good recipe and easy to make. I used regular sandwich butter bread and rolled the pieces in a cinnamon-sugar mix before frying them up. My family thought it was delish!

Chicken in Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2013
Not a bad recipe. I sliced the chicken breasts into strips, dipped in egg, and rolled in gluten-free bread crumbs. I fried them in olive oil first, then returned them to the pan and added gluten-free Cream of Mushroom soup and simmered on low for five minutes until the soup started to thicken (no need for milk with g-free soup). For seasoning I added garlic powder, paprika, and white pepper and then served it over jasmine rice. A quick, filling meal for a working mommy.

Easy Tuna Patties

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2014
My two year old ate them! We are gluten free and I'm always looking for easy recipes that I can substitute gluten free ingredients in. This turned out pretty good! I substituted gluten free bread crumbs, a table spoon of italian seasoning, and I fried them in coconut oil. I served it with dill sauce and she ate them up! next time I might try adding some Old Bay seasoning. Thanks for the recipe!!!

Easy Mini Quiches

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
Sorry, but these were not very good. I even took another members advice and reduced the mix and played with different ingredients, but it didn't help. I was very disappointed considering I made them for a baby shower. Maybe these would be better titled "Buiches" instead of quiches, considering they're essentially bisuits. I think these would be better suited for a breakfast or brunch item.
