Nacho Chip Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
Instead of using diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, used Rotel tomatoes, it has ALL the mexican seasoning you could want, mild or HOT! Definitely use shredded Mexican blend cheese, and forget the mushroom soup!

Easiest Ever Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2010
Sorry, this didn't even come close to my grandmother's recipe, the cobbler was too "cakey" for my taste and not sweet enough! I'm looking for a flakier, crispier cobbler dough. I only wish I had gotten my grandmothers recipe before she died.

Crunchy Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
This was pretty good, but the ingredients listed sounded pretty bland, so I 'spiced' it up a little. Instead of chicken soup, I used broccolli and cheese condensed soup, added a pkg. of Steamer Broccolli and used pepperjack cheese instead of mozzarella, I added 1/2 green apple, finely diced, used 1/2 milk and 1/2 mayo. I also used Uncle Bens brown rice with chicken seasoning. And finally, topped it with crumbled sour cream and onion flavored ruffles potato chips. I took the advice of another member and cooked my chicken pieces in olive oil and roasted garlic seasoning. Everything else was just as the recipe called for. My husband and I really enjoyed this, thanks for the basic instructions. I will make this again!

Stuffed Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
My husband and I thought this was fantastic! I used thick pork chops, split and stuffed with 'Stove Top Stuffing' before browning, then baked with additional stuffing like the recipe says. It was so good! It took a little longer to cook, about 10 extra minutes, but was truly moist and delicious! Umm, I will make again, thanks!

Crispy Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
I've made fried chicken many, many times, but this recipe was by far the BEST crispy chicken ever! I have never used buttermilk, I think that was probably key, and then letting the battered chicken "rest" before cooking was genius. My husband and I raved about the taste! Thanks for the great idea I will make again!

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
I served this for the first time Christmas morning and everybody loved it! I made one with bacon and one with sausage, following the directions exactly, except I cooked the bacon in strips, then crumbled it, and then sauteed the onions alone in the bacon grease. Though they were both delicious, it seems the bacon was the preferred choice. There were NO leftovers and it was requested that I make it again. Thanks!
