About this Cook
I am a stay-at home mom of three, who also runs a family daycare and tutors a few nights a week. I used to be a teacher, but I now love my new job at home. I like to cook, but don't always have the time. My husband and I enjoy finding new recipes to whip up.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. I really enjoy making anything with chocolate in it. I would do it more, but I find myself eating most of it!
My cooking triumphs
Just this Spring I canned my first batch of Strawberry Jam. I remember my Grandma canning jam and always wanted to learn, but was too afraid. I got fresh strawberries from our local farm and me, my mother and sister got together to try our first experience with canning. The jam came out great and now I'm hooked.

D's Famous Salsa
Very good! I think next time I won't mix it in the blender as much, and I might add more pepper so that it is a little spicier. My kids loved it though! It wasn't too hot for them.

Chocolate Glaze II
Yummy and Easy!! I did use 2 Tbsp.'s of butter as others suggested. This is an easy, quick and great tasting recipe.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
Best chili ever!! My husband and I have been experimenting with a number of different chili recipes and this one is our favorite. I recently tried it with using 1pd of beef and 1pd of ground turkey, and this has become our new favorite way for preparing it. I also recently used the Hot Pace Picante Sauce. It was a little too spicy for me, but my husband thought it was just right. Great and easy recipe!!
