Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
Only changes I made were to add some poultry seasoning and chopped celery in the water that I cooked the ck breasts in. Also cut butter to 1/4 cup for the crumb topping. Yummy!!!

Savory Sweet Potato Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2011
The dish is simply AMAZING! I wish I had found it years ago. The only changes I made were to saute my onions and peppers because my stomach likes them better that way and I replaced half of the mayo with sour cream. Thank you for sharing the recipe. Love, love, love it!!!!

Fruit Cocktail Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
Very good as recipe is written, but I have enjoyed it more with two tweeks. First, I exchanged the 2 bananas for 2 peeled and chopped granny smith apples, then I added 4 oz of sour cream which gives it some additional twang.

Gazpacho IV

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
This was pretty good. I tend to like my gazpacho a bit spicier. I followed this recipe exactly and found it a little bit bland, but still very good.

We loved this recipe. Only changes I made were replacing the kidney beans with pinto beans and added 1 tsp taco seasoning along with the other spices. Really good!!!

This is a great basic recipe. I did take the advice of others and used 1/2 brown sugar with 1/2 white sugar. Also added 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1/4 tsp of nutmeg. Thanks for sharing.

Snicky Snackies

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
Made these for my youngest daughter's baby shower. They were a hit!! My sister-in-law insisted I had to save some for her to take home to Louisiana to her husband. Will definitely be making these again. Would be great to use as Christmas gift as the recipe makes a large amount. Thank you for sharing.

Love this recipe. Had to use butter because my shortening had been sitting around too long. It worked like a charm. Thanks for sharing.

Easy Iced Coffee

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
Thank you so much for this recipe. I've made something similar to this before, but I think the shaking it until foamy is the real trick. I used cold almond milk and it was very yummy!

Pickled Hot Peppers

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2010
I had to substitute cayenne peppers for the serrano because that is what we had growing in our garden. Also added about 1/4 cup thinly sliced carrot to each jar as I filled them. I had so many peppers that I wound up tripling the recipe. Since the recipe did not specify I assumed from the picture that processing/boiling time was for pint jars. I used some quarts and some pints. Processed the pints for 15 mins and the quarts for 25 mins. All sealed perfectly. Yummy!

I made 2 changes to the recipe. I used a pineapple supreme cake mix because that is what I had & I used an 8 oz container of frozen whipped topping. The cake was delicious & I had plenty of frosting. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

I had a pint of fresh black raspberries. I followed the recipe, except omitted the orange juice (didn't have any). In it's place I used 1 tbsp of peach schnapps. Yum, yum, yum!! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Skillet Zucchini

Use 3 tbsp olive oil in place of the butter. Also omitted bacon and cheddar cheese. Only used about 1/4 cup of the Parmesan. We are trying to eat healthier. Even with the changes, this was a great side dish.

Blueberry Crisp II

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
Oh my goodness! I love the crisp on this. The mayo gives it that just right flavor. I didn't have enough blueberries so I used a combination of fresh mulberries and frozen blueberries & raspberries. It was awesome.
