Creamy Hot Cocoa

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2011
Definitely super-rich. Use only half the sugar and keep away from whole milk (the half and half will make it plenty rich); skim or 1% works best unless you want to feel like you're drinking a chocolate milkshake!

Frozen Mudslide

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
Great recipe, but I definitely made a few changes on the alcohol pours after substituting the 4 cups of crushed ice for 4 large scoops of vanilla ice cream and 1 cup of crushed ice. use 2oz vodka (about 2shot glasses) and feel free to substitute vanilla vodka. use 1.5oz of coffee liq (Kahlua is my favorite) and 1.5oz of irish cream liq (definitely go with Bailey's). nix the chocolate syrup in the actual drink (add it on top of the whipped cream or drizzle around the glass) and add the ice last so it doesn't melt from the heat of the blender. Add a touch of milk if it's too thick for ya! Tastes JUST like a TGI Friday's Mudslide! YUM!

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2015
WOW!! Loved this recipe the first time and even MORE the second! Definitely use sour cream instead of mayo, mix in the mozzarella cheese instead of putting it on top, add a couple dashes if hot sauce (don't worry, it doesn't make it spicy), and microwave it for a 1.5 min BEFORE sticking it in the oven(for 10minutes) so the top doesn't get hard. Tastes great if you garnish it with diced tomatoes! I used a loaf of Italian bread for dipping. Just make slices about 1/3in thick and throw it in the oven at the same time as the spin dip. They take 10 min too AND are hard enough for dipping!
