Monkey Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2012
I used butter instead of margarine, and it tasted awesome! I will try with margarine too, just to see which flavor we prefer. So easy to make! I thought when the dough came out of the bread machine that surely this was not enough dough for a whole bundt pan--but sure enough, it filled that puppy right up! Great recipe, will definitely make again!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2012
This bread tastes WAY BETTER than the recipe that came with my bread machine! It's very soft, and I only rate it a 4 because I wanted it a bit softer/flakier crust.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2012
This soup was delicious!! I added 1-1/2 pounds of processed cheese... we looooovveee a cheesy soup! The only other thing I would change next time is reducing the onion to 1/2. My husband hates onions, and adding a whole onion was a bit too much for him. Awell, just means more leftovers for me! Bring it on!

Easy Lasagna II

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
My boyfriend had a long day at work, so I thought I'd surprise him with a hearty meal. When I saw that the other lasagna recipes called for such extravagant ingredients, and required much more time to prepare than I really had to spare, I was bummed. However, this Easy Lasagna II came to my rescue! Tastes just like the lasagna my mom spends hours preparing. I wouldn't change a thing about this recipe--it's perfect, and my boyfriend raved about its awesomeness. Maybe that diamond ring will come sooner than I think, thanks to this recipe ;D

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
Honestly, I thought the recipe I have always used for sugar cookies was the best recipe ever..... but THESE..... oh man, these top my recipe times like, 100! I was very pleased with these cookies. Not crunchy--perfectly soft and delicious! I made a batch for work, and they were ALL GONE within 45 minutes. Kudos!!!

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
I just started volunteering at a recovery home for alcohlics and addicts, making them dinner a couple times a month. I'm in college, so I have a tight budget. I needed something that wasn't too expensive, but would feed a lot of hungry men... I tell ya, this was a hit! I was so worried about everything turning out okay, and I was MORE than pleased with this recipe. I tripled the recipe and used ground turkey instead of ground beef because it's cheaper and has less fat and calories and tastes about the same as ground beef. I think I let it simmer a little too long because they weren't as juicy as I'd hoped, but they were still awesome sloppy joes! I'll definitely remember this one for big parties! Kudos to the creator!

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
I was sooo pleased with this recipe! I am a college student, and of course money is always tight. This casserole is honestly so easy to make, and the price is right. I added steamed peas to the tuna mix, and then added 2 cups of cheese (i'm a cheese lover) over the top of the mix before I put the pan in the oven. This is definitely my new favorite--it beats buying tuna helper, tastes better, and is from scratch (making you look like a pro chef)!

Pumpkin Cookies VI

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
It was raining this morning, and the fall weather really started to hit. I was craving something pumpkin! These cookies were SO GOOD--very moist and melt-in-your-mouth! Now, I'm not a fan of raisins, so I added 1/2c of chocolate chips instead... I only added 1/2c instead of 1c because I was afraid the melted chocolate would overpower the pumpkin flavor. I'll definitely be making these even when fall is over!
