I made this using gluten free flour and it is really good. I also added vanilla. I would recommend this recipe.

Cheesy Ranch Potato Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
This was so much better than it sounded (and it sounded good). I only used 4 T of butter that I melted and sauteed some finely chopped leeks, added the spices and then poured over the potatoes and stirred to completely cover them. Once they were done, I added the ranch dressing, cheese and some real crumbled bacon. I will definitely make these again.

Cindy's Awesome Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
Great chowder and so easy. I did follow Cindy's recommendation and used 2 bottles of clam juice to cook the potatoes and carrots. Loved this recipe....thanks Cindy! One more thing, I used only 3 potatoes and diced them into fairly small cubes and I will probably use another can or two of clams.

King Crab Appetizers

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
I made these for a Christmas party and they were a major hit!! I used the frozen phyllo cups and there was enough filling for 30 of them (or two boxes). Everyone was asking for the recipe. The only thing I added was a little garlic powder. I did mix the filling a few hours before and let it sit in the fridge, filled and baked just before they were served. I will be making these again on Christmas!

These are so sweet (not too sweet) and light. I love them, and I haven't even iced them yet. Thanks for sharing, Marianne.

Cheeseburger Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2010
This is a very good hearty soup. The only changes I made was I used 1/2 cheddar cheese and 1/2 velveeta and I substituted corn for carrots. I added the corn at the end while it was heating.

Tater Tot Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
We really enjoyed this recipe. I did as another reviewer suggested and mixed the cream of mushroom soup, along with a can of cheddar cheese soup, into the ground beef and layered cheese on top of that, then added the tots and more cheddar on top. It was much better than I expected and I will be making this again.

Nanny's Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
We really liked this sauce. I cooked it in the crock pot for 8 hours on low with meatballs and it turned out just right. It is even better the next day.

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
This is a very good, easy recipe. The only thing I didn't add was the hot pepper sauce and crushed red pepper flakes, but, other than that I followed this recipe completely. I cooked them in sauce in the crock pot for 8 hours on low and they were done perfectly. Thanks LTH for sharing this recipe.

Daddy's Whisker Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
Very good soup! I scaled it down in half and took Kerstin's advice and still used a whole pound of Velveeta. Really good on a cold night (which we don't have many of in So Fla). Thanks, Junebug's Mom

Quick Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
These are so good! I made them exactly as written but made 24 muffins instead of 2 loaves. They are moist and very lemony (but not over-powering). Will defintely make again.

Ultimate Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
My daughter said I can make this again, quite a compliment from a girl who doesn't really 'like' shrimp. I omitted the avacado and asiago (didn't have any) and it also kept it lower in calories. Will definitely make this again.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
My daughter and I really liked this dish. The only thing I added was some garlic powder, and only used 2 C of cheddar cheese. This recipe is very versatile, you can experiment with different cheeses and fillings. May try again using a different veggie or cheese combination.
