Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
Wonderful! I made this twice in a 24 hour time period for 2 different sets of friends and family. They want to know why the rating system doesn't go any higher.

I have never liked pea soup before. My boyfriend, family and friends all enjoy it; so I decided to make it for them. I was pleasantly surprised with this recipe. I actually ate and enjoyed this soup. Thank you for submitting the recipe.

Pollo Fajitas

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2009
I went with the other reviews and added lemon and lime juice, cayenne pepper, and chilli powder. I made additional marinade and cut the peppers (green, red and yellow, onions and chicken (cut in strips) into a covererd bowl with the marinade for several hours (shaking the marinade around occasionally.) I pan fried the peppers, onions, and chicken for quite awhile on low until the juices evaporated. My boyfriend and friends raved about this meal and want to know when I will make it again.

Fresh Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
Wonderful! I didn't have any peaches so I omitted them and instead used 2 types of apples, and a 3 berry mix (raspberry, blueberry and marion berries). I made double the batter mix as suggested by other reviews. This was a big hit at my dinner party!

Cheesy Sliced Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
Awesome! I made these for a block dinner party and they were great. I cooked it in the microwave as suggested, but then finished it off in the oven at 350 for about 25 minutes. I added extra sour cream for a total of 1 1/2 cups, black pepper, garlic powder and a package of sharp wisconsin & vermont cheddar cheese with bacon. The additional ingredients make it a little soupy until baked and then turns out nice and creamy and yummy!

Savory Biscuit Bites

Very Good! I made this for a block dinner party and friends and family all enjoyed them. I made a double batch and they disappeared quickly. I added minced garlic to the ingredients and I doubled the butter, onion, parmesan and parsley. Fabulous!

Carrot 'N' Celery Amandine

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
I used olive oil instead of the canola and I did not use the toasted almonds, and the dish turned out "Splendidly delicious!" I was told this was going to be one of our "staples" for a side vegetable dish.
