Alienated Blueberry Muffins

As Smelton said in 2002: yummmmmm. I used butter and added about another 1/4 cup of blueberries and they are wonderful.

Banana Banana Bread

Have made this recipe more than once and it's great every time. The only change that I make is to add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts. This banana bread is perfect--not too sweet!

I started creaming the butter while getting the dry ingredients together and discovered that I only a 1/4 cup of cocoa powder left! I started rummaging through my cupboards to find out if I had anything to substitute and found malted milk powder. So, I added 1/2 cup of that and hoped that the cupcakes would turn out. Yay, they did! The tops were rather crusty, but the cupcakes were tasty! Thanks for a great recipe!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Great pie! I had a bag of honeycrisp apples and decided to make an apple pie. So I went out and bought a couple red delicious to add a little dimension to the pie. THEN I checked recipes and found this one. Even though it called for granny smith apples, I thought the recipe sounded so good, that I made it anyway--didn't change any of the other ingredients. The pie is quite tasty, but is pretty runny. I'll try it again using granny smiths and see if still runny. Anyway, love the pie!

Date Nut Bread

Very good flavor. I liked that it doesn't have a lot of spices. Would definitely cut down on the sugar next time though. I used packaged chopped dates which already have added sugar. This recipe is a keeper.
