Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
Fabulous!! First time I made this I followed the recipe and it was entirely too sweet. The second time I made it I followed the suggestions of other reviewers. I made a fudgey brownie and for the chocolate pudding layer I used half a pint of heavy whipping cream. I whipped the cream and added the chocolate fudge pudding mix and water to it. I also layered crushed oreos between the chocolate whipped cream and the regular whipped cream. In my opinon the oreos were what made it in the end. If you make this it MUST be made a day in advance!

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
PHENOM!! my absolute fav classic peanut butter cookie!! Only changes made was an extra 1/2 cup of peanut butter and 1/2 cup of flour to make the cookies soft and plump. If you add this you do not need to refrigerate.

Pizza Casserole

Excellent after these changes. 1/4 lb. hamburger meat 2 sweet italian sausage links 1/2 cup turkey pepperoni Sweet italian sausage is often confused with the italian sausage on your pizza, but couldn't be more different excellent addition to any italian dish. To cook slit open the casing and sautee the sausage after removing the casing. I used a regular pizza sauce but found it too sweet and lacking any depth of flavor so I added 3 or 4 tbsp of a good pesto and some crushed red pepper. Invest in a good cheese and sprinkled a little parmesan to top it off. Wonderful aroma delicious dish!

Delish!! Only change I made was I reduced to flour from 1/4 c. to 3 TBSP. I prefer a creamy cheesecake to a cake-like cheesecake. Otherwise wonderful!!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

The recipe is much better when you use pork instead of chicken. At the end of the day I couldn't really tell that I was eating chicken at all.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
I used 4 pork chops, seasoned with garlic powder and black pepper. 1/4 can cream of mushroom and 1 can cream chicken due to the fact that we are not mushroom people I didn't have any wine in the house so I used a little more milk and added 1 package of brown gravy mix. I also added pepper and salt to the gravy. I live in the deep south you can't have fried pork chops without gravy! Overall wonderful recipe!

French Baguettes

Incredible!! Did not use a bread machine. Sprinkled kosher salt, parsley and parmesan on top. Next time will do a egg white wash instead of yolk. No one believed that I made this bread, excellent 'company' dish.
