Darn Good Mashed Taters!

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
I haven't tried this recipe, but I add chicken or beef (depending on what I am cooking) bouilon to the water and potatoes while they are cooking. No need for salt but I do add pepper and butter when mashing. My 8yr old loves them and always asks for 2nds. I'm rating this a 3 since I haven't tried it but I'm sure it is good.

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
I made these muffins and sent them to Afghanistan where my husband is currently deployed to. I told him to try the muffins before sharing (to make sure they were good)but when he opened the box his soldiers saw and could smell the spices and they all wanted what was in the box and they dove right in. My husband said they were very moist and it made him miss home even more. It took almost a week for my husband to get the muffins and they were still fresh.. I'm going to make about 100 more to send to them.

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
This was awesome!! I cooked a pot roast the night before and used the left over meat (I know, not what i should have used) but it was easy and tasted just as good. Love the mayo!! My son loved it as well. I can't wait for my husband to come home from his deployment (he will love it too).

Broccoli Beef II

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2008
This Broccoli Beef taste nothing like take out or dine in Chinese food. It was good and my 8 yr old son loves it, so that is a good thing. I will probable make it again, just because of my son. It was simple to make, that's for sure.

Steak Fingers

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
We love steak fingers.. my mom made these for us when i was a kid and we couldn't get enough of them. Of course you need to season them with more then just salt and pepper. I use garlic salt in place of regular salt and once they come out of the grease i season them with a touch of cracked black pepper. There is a small hole in the wall joint in Haskell, TX that serves some of the best fingers. When we go home for reunions we spot in a couple of times before we leave.
