Dreaming of Retirement
About this Cook
I am a mother of four. I love to cook for my family and get their reactions. Especially when I cook something totally off the wall.
My favorite things to cook
I actually don't have a favorite but I guess I'[sd have to say I enjoy desserts (teehee)
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to have my family at the dinner table every night. I feel dinner is the most important meal of the day. It's time to share all about our busy days. It may sometimes be the only time of day we are all in the same room.
My cooking triumphs
Learning how to make proper gravy!
My cooking tragedies
Putting the wrong spice in a dessert and watching the reation of all of us. It was horrible.

Zucchini Cakes
I had resevations about this recipe. I grew up on the East Coast eating Mayland Crab cakes. I live on the West Coast and it's hard to find a good crab cake. I really thought my family wouldn't eat this but apparently, I didn't make enough. They wanted seconds... It is a great alternative to using crab meat. Thanx
