Maybe explaining what is in Herbes de Provence would help those who can't find it in their stores. It contains a mix of ,dried Fennel, Rosemary, Thyme, and Lavender.

I wish I could give this 10 stars. It was simple and tasted great. I paired it with marinated cherry tomatoes and some Italian bread and a glass of red wine. What more could you want.

Bratwurst Stew

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
I had some leftover brats and didn't know what to do with them until I came upon this. I came out great and I am serving it for supper tonight. I wouldn't call it a stew as it was not thickened with anything. Maybe that is why others added potato. I liked it just the way it was written.

Having lived in Germany this was like going back. I will say you must watch that the beer does not go dry. Mine started to burn on as the beer boiled out. Sooooooo easy.

I really like this recipe. I made it for Thanksgiving. The only thing I did differently was to use small pearl onions and I peeled them. Mom liked it also.

I love these cookies. I have just made them for the second time. The dough was sticky so I used a small scoop to put them on the parchment paper and then slightly wetted my fingers to flatten them. I chilled the dough in the refrig. in between batches.
