Whole Wheat Oatmeal Bread

Great hearty texture. Not too fluffy but not too heavy. This was exactly what I was looking for. We had this with a vegetarian Italian Peasant soup and it didn't fall apart when dipped into the broth. I didn't have powdered milk so I just used regular milk in the same measurement. Set the breadmaker for whole wheat, 2lbs and medium crust. Perfect, perfect, perfect!! Thanks!

Breakfast Burritos de Frank

AWESOME! I used my own homemade salsa and substituted egg whites only. For extra flavor, I added fresh cilantro sprigs!Wrapped in warm tortilla and savored every bite!!

Red Lentil Curry

This was a good recipe but I was expecting a bit more flavor. I know this must sound crazy considering all the spices that go into this recipe. I used a can of Hunt's tomato sauce (just pureed tomato without spices/herbs). I think it needs some fresh cut tomatoes. I did chop up a potato and threw in some frozen peas. I didn't use all the lentils, there were just way too many.

Cod with Italian Crumb Topping

made this with the mayo and lemon juice instead and it came out great!! I also used real freshly minced garlic, one large clove. Then I sprayed it with Pam Spray, butter flavor. Came out great. I didn't give it a full 5 stars since I used other's suggestions instead of the original.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This sauce is better than any of the numerous bottles I've wasted money on from the store. I make Japanese sticky rice and broccoli to go with it. It's my two picky eater's favorite meal. The only change I made was to use rice vinegar instead of cider vinegar. I've never made it with cider so not sure if it really makes a difference, it just seems to make more sense. Thanks for a great recipe!!

Blackened Fish

French Bread

Disappointed. Couldn't give this the full 5 stars due to taste. Just your basic white bread except it had a hard outter crust. Didn't have the consistancy of French bread at all. If you're looking for more of a sandwich bread, this is your recipe. I'll try another recipe and not make this one again.

Cheddar-Thyme Flaky Biscuits

Big hit with my recipe club ladies. I did make some changes. Substituted 1/2 cup of flour for whole wheat and reduced sugar by half. Didn't have cream of tartar but it didn't keep these biscuits from coming out fluffy. Took the recommendation of another reviewer and grated the butter with a cheese grater. I LOVED this suggestion!! It made it so much easier to blend. Fabulous, quick and Very Easy biscuits. Will make for Thanksgiving!

Clark's Quiche

Really good!!!.. And I'm not a quiche eater but this made me re-evalute. It was quick and easy. I made one for a friend in need of a meal for her family and kept the other. Didn't expect my husband to be too excited about it either but since there is so much meat it was perfect for a full dinner meal. I did cut down on the amount of bacon and made up for it with ham, just to lessen the guilt! Thanks for a great recipe.

Asian Orange Chicken

Great recipe. Was a bit on the sweet side but then again I didn't add the red pepper flakes since the kids were eating it. I did add some Sriracha hot sauce to my own to help balance the sweet and it was great! I also picked up some vegetable fried rice at our local Chinese restaurant to go on the side. Saved time and went perfectly.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Great taste (I doubled the vanilla) but didn't get that "chewy" cookie other reviewers wrote these had. They were almost too soft! I hate to give a bad review, but these didn't get me that excited at taste testing time. Wished there was a bit more complexity to the texture.
