About this Cook
I am originally from Egegik, Alaska and began cooking in our family restaurant/pizza place when I was about 12 years old. I am now a newlywed (married on Dec. 2, 2007) and I do most of the cooking for my husband and myself. I need to learn new recipes!
My favorite things to cook
My husband and I do not eat pork or beef, so I cook a lot of chicken, fish, and ground turkey. We also love fruits and vegetables.

Classy Chicken
this is a very good recipe, once you make it a few times. i use chicken breast tenders, add pepper and johnny's seasoning while frying, use two zucchini, and use fresh chopped up tomato instead of sundried. i also use a little less mustard than called for and a little more sour cream. i add the sour cream into the pan with the chicken, instead of serving separately. i then add a little garlic salt, which i think makes everything better! my husband and i really enjoy this meal over rice.

Hamburger Pie
I thought this was a pretty good recipe. Nothing special, but pretty tasty if you add some extra spices. I added garlic salt and pepper to my meat mixture. Only used three potatoes, then mashed them with some butter, salt and pepper. I put the potatoes on top of the meat mixture and covered the top with about twice the amount of cheese called for. I wish I would have put some cheese between the meat and potato mixture as well. In the end, this recipe just seemed to me and my husband to be another version of Sheperd's Pie. Not bad though.

Adobo Chicken with Ginger
GREAT chicken adobo recipe. A friend of mine that was Filipino used to make chicken adobo, and I have been wanting a good recipe for it. This recipe is easy and delicious! My family loves it.
